This past weekend, the staff here at Urban Eve Had the pleasure of going on a staff retreat together. Some of you may have noticed we were closed on Monday, this was the reason. We really wanted to be able to bond outside of the high paced salon life.
It’s funny how you can know people so well, but never really know who they really are. This was the mission of our retreat. We wanted to know who we all are outside of the daily grind. The location of the retreat was kept as a tightly guarded secret by Jason and Jennifer. No matter how much we begged, they never let on to where we were going. We ended up in a great isolated cabin out in the hill country.
We had the best time bonding together. We got super competitive playing tether-ball, laughed by telling embarrassing stories over a homemade lasagna dinner, and bonded as a family over a campfire on a night lit by a full moon.
I can’t wait to get all the pictures together from this trip to put up. I know you will have a chuckle or two at the memories shared.
Be sure to come by the salon and boutique sometime soon and see the new things we have going on. We are always getting new things for the boutique. This summer is the perfect time to bring out your wild side with some animal print. Also in for the season is hair accessories. We have a great selection of head bands, clips and more. Our new favorite item here is the Tarina Tarintino flower hair clips. They come in great festive colors with sparkling diamonds…..well maybe not diamonds, but swarovski crystals, either way they glitter!
