Q&A:
When did you know you wanted to do hair?
When I was about 10 I would fix my sisters hair for school. In high school I colored all of my friends hair. I guess I always kind of saw myself doing hair.
How would you describe your approach to doing hair color?
I want to know my guests' personality & what they see themselves being able to handle. Then I can throw in my own little flair.
What inspires your creativity?
I love to look at different magazines, it doesn't even have to be hairstyling magazines. I also like to "people watch" in malls and look for anything that stands out.
What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time?
I would start off small and work your way to a more drastic color. But again it all depends on your personality and lifestyle.
How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client?
Anything from changing foil placement to changing the tone of a color will customize a color. And of course an awesome cut customizes them.
What celebrity always has great hair?
Carrie Underwood. I love her style all together.
What's your approach to returning hair color clients?
I never want it to look dull so my main goal is to freshen the look.
Describe your personal style:
I like things simple but I also love to try funky things.
