When did you know you wanted to do hair?

When I was 5 my aunt started beauty school and she was so happy. I can remember telling my mom that I was going to be a hairstylist just like her.

How would you describe your approach to doing hair color?

By talking and watching the customer. I like to give them a look that replicates them as a person.

What inspires your creativity?

Everything! I get inspiration from watching the water on the beach, looking at the skyscrapers in NYC; or just watching the clouds in the sky.

What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time?

Really look around and figure out what they like and want. Have a good idea of what they are going to want and find a stylist you trust.

How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client?

By looking at them. Every face is different therefore needs different styles to accommodate their features and personal style.

What celebrity always has great hair?

Right now I am in love with Victoria Beckham's!

What's your approach to returning hair color clients?

Make them feel like they are at home. I want a customer to feel at total ease with me and to trust me.

Describe your personal style:

Simple and classic. I love neutral colors like black and brown and I love to throw a little trend with it like a pink tank under a black button down, just something to keep it interesting!
